According to what i know, laptop battery charge management is implemented by means of proprietary system and can be configured only by using software. Can windows 7 set the battery charging threshold then the battery life will be shortened than if one uses their laptop on battery power. How can i limit battery charging to 80% capacity? the charging thresholds are, did you check to see whether there is a bios setting on your laptop for this?.
